Nenagh Ormond R.F.C. under 12's travelled to Greenfields on Sunday for the Young Munster Blitz. Ballina Killaloe R.F.C. were also in attendance. Nenagh played three matches and came out on the right side of the score board in all games. The lads performed very well in all phases but a feature was our ability to keep the ball off the turf with some excellent interplay between backs and forwards. Jack Casey at hooker was the pick of the forwards, with Billy O’Brien sniping to great effect from scrum half. In the backs, Brehon O’Donnell and Daniel Connolly were the pick of the bunch with some excellent running. Well done to Luke Walsh and Jack Ryan who were making their debuts for the team and performed very well.
