Senior Rugby: The senior squad had an excellent performance on Friday night in Takumi Park, Rosbrien to take the significant spoils on offer. They defeated Old Crescent RFC on a score of 29-10. The win qualifies them for a Munster Senior Cup Quarter Final clash with Garryowen which will be played next Saturday at 2.30pm in Dooradoyle and also a Limerick Charity Cup Final date with Shannon RFC, details of which are to be confirmed.

The Senior 2nds XV also kicked off their season on Sunday with an away tie vs Fethard RFC in the Mansergh Cup. A lightning start by the Nenagh boys saw them take a 19-0 lead in the first half. Unfortunately a few injuries as well as a yellow card took their toll in the 2nd half and the final score was 34- 19 to the home side. Nonetheless it was a brave effort from a young squad and valuable game time was given to all squad members over the weekend.
