Our under 12s travelled to Dublin on Saturday for the annual Fr Gavin Under 12s Tournament in Willow Park, Blackrock.

This is a big event on our calendar and ensures our lads get to play teams we wouldn’t normally meet. On what was a pretty grim day weatherwise leaving Nenagh at 7am on Saturday we were treated to a day of sunshine when we reached Blackrock. The weather along with the wonderful facilities laid on by Willow Park ensured a great day out was had by all. Our two teams played six games each and did themselves and the coaches proud. They were competitive in all of their matches against some very strong opposition and what pleased the coaches the most is that skills learned throughout the season were on full display. This squad of 50 players is developing very well in terms of rugby skills and teamwork which all bodes well for the future. Well done to all the boys for representing the club in such a positive manner.
