Nenagh Ormond travel to Terenure in round 4 of the All-Ireland League looking to turn a performance into points for the first time in this, their debut Division 1 campaign.
Nenagh have shown enough in their first 3 games to show that they can compete at this level but they will need to start securing points quickly if they are to rise in the table. There are no easy games in division 1A but by the same token, it is widely considered that any of the 10 teams can beat each other on any given day.
This time around the opponents are Terenure College, who so far have sandwiched a defeat to Cork Con in between victories over UCD and Lansdowne. This is their first home fixture of the season as work continues on their new pavilion.
Nenagh were unlucky to come away with nothing from a highly competitive outing against Cork Con, while Terenure come into this game on the back of an excellent away win at Lansdowne.
There is a bit of a shake-up in selection for both teams. Nenagh see the return of second-row Jake O’Kelly and winger Conor O’Shaughnessy as well as giving first starts to Munster prop Roman Salanoa and Argentinian hooker Matteo Sentous.
Terenure are missing a couple of regulars from their 1st choice line-up due to injury and provincial duty including their exciting young out-half Caspar Gabriel.
