Nenagh Ormond travel to the capital for the third time in a month to take on Lansdowne in round 5 of the AIL Division 1A.
After four opening losses, the pressure is now really on Nenagh to get their debut season in the top grade up and running.
Taking on the elite of club rugby following two straight promotions is a challenging task and although performing creditably in all of their games to date, Nenagh have yet to secure their first points.
This week, the opponents are Lansdowne, who have won two of their four games to date, most recently an away win in Limerick against Young Munster. They currently lie in 6th position on 10 points.
Head coach Derek Corcoran and his management team make 5 changes from last week’s starting IV against Terenure.
Exciting under 21 player Fionn Higgins makes his debut on the right wing, whilst Derek Corcoran himself takes over at out-half. Luke Kerr returns to scrum-half.
In the pack, John Brislane makes his first start of the season in place of the injured Rob Buckley and Darragh McSweeney replaces his fellow Munster prop Roman Salanoa.
