Our Under 13s Red Team played Garryowen in the Munster Cup last Sunday in Dooradoyle. The lads played their best rugby of the season so far and held a very strong Garryowen side to within two scores at half time. However, being down a few players meant most of the boys had to play the full 50 minutes while Garryowen were able to call upon a full bench which ensured they were able to keep their team fresh and keep up the pressure and secure the win. The Nenagh lads should be very proud of themselves as they showed great skills and determination to ensure this was a keenly contested competitive fixture. This is all the more impressive in the context of our Under 13s being the only squad fielding two teams this year in Munster.

The Red Team play the league Bowl final next Sunday against Ennis RFC. Best of luck Nenagh.
