Nenagh Ormond got their season off to a flying start with a well deserved win away to Bohemians in Annacotty last Saturday in the first round of their defence of The Sporting Limerick Charity Cup.Leading 12-7 at half time, Nenagh scored two further tries in the second haf to lead 27-9 before a late rally by the home side narrowed the deficit to 5 at the finish. Nenagh however were fully deserving of the win and will play Young Munster in round 2.

Man of the match for Nenagh was Nicky Irwin who capped a fine individual performance with his side's opening try.
