Nenagh Ormond RFC would like to pass our condolences to the families of Kieran Maquire (Drom na Coille/Tobar Mhuire) and Matt O'Meara (Ballinlough, Toomevara) whose deaths occurred recently.

Kieran was a popular member of the Order of Malta and provided medical cover at rugby matches over many years . He will be sorely missed by his family and his work colleagues at Nenagh Hospital.

Matt O'Meara was from a GAA background but had a keen interest in rugby and was a regular supporter of Nenagh teams in Listunny on match days. In recent years he was not able to attend as many matches due to illness, but always took a keen interest in Nenagh Ormond's fortunes and avidly followed match reports in the Nenagh Guardian when he was unable to attend games

The club extends its deepest sympathies to both of the families , neighbors and friends at this difficult time.
