Under 20: With pre season training now back in full swing we’d just like to remind all potential players that Under 20 training runs in conjunction with senior training on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7.30pm. All players both new and returning are most welcome with games scheduled to start in the coming weeks. For more information contact Ger Ryan on 087 9906206 or send us a message through any of our social channels.

Senior Rugby Returns: It’s that time of the year again where the rugby season kicks in to competitive action. Nenagh Ormond Seniors kick off their season this coming Saturday in the opening round of the Sporting Limerick Charity Cup in Annacotty vs. UL Bohemians at 2.30pm. With a new coaching team in place and some new faces in the playing ranks too, fans of the club will no doubt be anxious to see how the squad are shaping up for the upcoming Energia League. All travelling support would be most appreciated and gate proceeds on the day will go to charities in the Mid West region.

Summer Camp: Munster Rugby held a very successful Summer Camp and highly enjoyable youth Summer Skills camp in Lisatunny last week. It was attended by almost 130 boys and girls making it one of the largest in Munster. The highlight of the week was the visit of local hero Ben Healy and his Munster teammate Paddy Patterson to do a Q&A with our young players and sign autographs. This as you can imagine created great excitement. The club was delighted to give each player a treat before they went home on Friday.

We also managed to gather up some gear which was left behind and we'd love to reunite them with their owners. If anyone is missing gear, or took home the wrong gear in error, please contact Paddy Fitzpatrick. See images on our Facebook page to check if any is yours.

Thank you to all the boys and girls who took part in the camp and we look forward to seeing you all back in Nenagh Ormond in the coming season. All mini age groups return on Sunday September 4th. Further updates for these, other age groups and their coaching contacts will be provided on our social media shortly and here next week.

Munster U18: Congratulations to both Cillian Ryan and Mason Cawley who represented Munster at U18 Boys Club level tomorrow in Donnybrook vs Leinster last Saturday. This is a great honour for the boys and their families and we wish them well in the remaining Interprovincial games over the coming weeks. Well done lads.
