The senior squad are back in action this week with a game that now has added importance. Having won the first round of the Charity Cup vs UL Bohs last Saturday week Nenagh were drawn to face Old Crescent RFC in the semi final of that competition last Saturday. Old Crescent are currently celebrating the 75th anniversary of their establishment. As part of that celebration they had a prior agreement to play Old Belvedere last Saturday to mark the occasion and the historical links between both clubs through their Jesuit founders. That forced the postponement of last Saturday’s match for us. Coincidentally we were also due to play Old Crescent in the first round of the Bank of Ireland Munster Senior Cup on September 17th. Both clubs have now agreed to play next Friday night, September 9th as a double up fixture, meaning the winner will advance in both competitions. Kick off is at 7.30pm in Takumi Park, Rosbrien. All support would be much appreciated
