The u15's kicked off their Pan Munster Bowl competition last weekend. We travelled to Clanwilliam for a tough game with unfortunately just 15 of the lads available to play due to illness and injury. After 10 minutes we were down to 14 players, with Matt Leyden having to come off injured .The lads played very well and were on top for most of the game, spending most of the time in Clan's half. Clanwilliam unfortunately got two handy tries taking advantage of their extra man.The lads pulled back an excellent, hard worked try from our captain Sean Kennedy and Michael Cleary kicked a great conversion leaving the score at 10-7. The lads were well in the game. Ronan Maher was then held up on the line after a great carry. Despite all our pressure Clan crossed for another try and conversion near the end against a tired 14 Nenagh men who fought hard all game and were unlucky not to win. We are out again after Christmas v Kilrush on 7th Jan.The lads played great rugby and hopefully when we have everyone back from illness and injuries we can get a couple of results. We wish everyone a happy Christmas from NORFC u15's.
