The weekend just past was another superb one all round for the adult section of the club. For the second weekend running the senior side took out a team placed above them in the Energia AIL and completed the double for the season over table topping Queens University RFC. This is a great fillip for the side as they face a tough home examination against Highfield RFC in the Munster Senior Cup this Saturday. With the Six Nations due to kick off on Saturday afternoon for Ireland in Cardiff the Nenagh game will kick off at 12pm in Lisatunny. The team have already conquered Division 1 opposition in Garryowen FC this season and will hope to repeat that feat on Saturday with the notable prize of a first ever final appearance on the line. With entry costing a mere €10 you won't get better value entertainment anywhere this weekend. The clubhouse bar will be open afterwards to screen the Ireland game and complimentary finger food will be provided. Get out to Lisatunny on Saturday and be part of what will hopefully be a great occasion.
