A 15 strong Nenagh Ormond side travelled to Bruff on Sunday last. Nenagh had been undefeated in the last two matches. Nenagh got off to a flying start with two early tries scored by Liam Flynn & Hugo Healy. Both were converted by Charlie Talbot. The Nenagh forwards played with great conviction led by captain Ronan Devlin as well as brilliant runs by the full pack. All the time spreading the ball wide through the backs resulting in two more tries before half time. One of these was set up by Jack Tierney and then a great run by winger Oscar Griffin to score in the corner. The other which was run through midfield and carried very well leading to an exceptional try by Darragh Corish to the right of the posts. One of the two was converted by Charlie Talbot. Nenagh went in at half time ahead 26-0. Nenagh continued their good form again in the second half with a very good try by Sam Gallahue in the corner which was not converted. The ball was gathered well throughout by a pacy Eibhin Meagher at full back. Nenagh finished 30-0 ahead. Next it is a game against Kilrush to determine 3rd & 4th place in the group. This will decide if we face a home or away semi final in the plate.
