Our u15's fought an unbelievably tough battle with a very strong and unlucky Newcastle West side on Sunday to eventually come out 7-5 winners. The whole Nenagh squad stood up and defended all game with great discipline and resilience. A first half try worked well by our forwards gave Billy Hodgins a chance to cross the line, and a conversion followed by Dean Carey. As things turned out this was to be the only score of the game for us and just enough to eventually win it. Our boys defended with their lives and after Newcastle West scored a try in the second half things weren't looking great for us. But absolute grit and determination saw the boys defend their slim two point margin. Thanks to a great crowd cheering us on and all the lads excellent work, we now face Shannon in the u16 Development Bowl Final. The lads’ discipline and hard work saw them through and huge credit to all the players for that. Thanks to everyone for their support and the boys and their parents for their dedication.
