Nenagh Ormond entertained Ennis at home in the first round of the Munster Cup last Sunday. All players seemed to be on a high after winning last week's plate final and they carried that confidence into the game. As the game kicked off conditions were not ideal but Nenagh played very well and were 22 nil up at half time. We scored 4 tries through Aidan Ryan, Donagh Carmody, Scott Powell and the pick of them by James Dwyer. Nenagh kept the momentum going in the second half as the conditions deteriorated and 2 more tries were scored by Anluan White which left the score at 36-0. It was a very good defensive display keeping Ennis scoreless while also showing some very accurate attacking patterns. It was a very nice way to sign off in what was probably our last game in Tyone field. We play Newcastle West at home next Sunday in the quarter final. Training continues Wednesday night
