With the Munster Plate Final looming on Saturday in Thomond Park at 1.00pm the Nenagh U18.5 team got some good preparation under their belts with a home friendly vs Portlaoise RFC last Friday night. In a thrilling contest, with great rugby played by both sides, the final score was 31 apiece with ten tries shared by the sides. This sends Nenagh to Thomond on Saturday with a spring in their step and all in the club wish them the very best as they take on Muskerry RFC on the hallowed turf. Fingers crossed they can add provincial honours to the North Munster title already secured a fortnight ago. Best of luck to all involved.
